Nominate Your Favorite Teacher for the New Mohawk Valley Educators Grant and Help Them Win $500!

Marcy, NY – Standard Heating, Cooling & Insulating is proud to launch the Mohawk Valley Educators Grant, a fresh and exciting way to recognize and celebrate outstanding K–12 teachers who inspire students and energize their classrooms across the Mohawk Valley.

This unique mini-grant program invites the community to nominate teachers from four local school districts, including New Hartford, Whitesboro, Sauquoit, and Clinton, for a chance to receive $500 to bring creative projects, classroom supplies, or hands-on learning experiences to life.

Unlike typical grants, this program celebrates teachers who already create buzz and excitement in their schools and communities. Nominated educators who generate the most enthusiasm will be awarded grants as a boost to their passion and innovative teaching.

Nomination Timeline

• Nominations Open: August 11, 2025
• Deadline to Nominate: August 24, 2025
• Review Period: August 25–27, 2025
• Winners Announced: August 27, 2025
• Recognition Week: September 2–5, 2025

Who Can Be Nominated?

• Full-time K–12 educators teaching in New Hartford, Whitesboro, Sauquoit, or Clinton school districts.
• Teachers who bring creativity, dedication, and excitement to their classrooms and communities.

Recognition & Celebration
Winning teachers will be featured in a digital highlight series, “Educators of the Mohawk Valley,” across social media and local news outlets. Winners will also receive a special gift from Standard Heating, Cooling & Insulating to support their classroom efforts.

The Mohawk Valley Educators Grant is a community-driven mini-grant program recognizing outstanding teachers in the Mohawk Valley. Launched in 2025 by Standard Heating, Cooling & Insulating, the initiative aims to fund creativity in classrooms, elevate teacher voices, and inspire educational innovation, one project at a time.
